The Goal Voted Best Local Sports Film
Move over, Murderball! The latest in quad-rugby films, The Goal, was jam-packed with Denver love. Director Darla Rae was inspired by Jason Regier, president of the Denver Harlequin Wheelchair Rugby Team; The Goal follows the story of two disabled athletes struggling to rebuild their lives. Starring Regier, it was filmed on location at Winter Park's National Sports Center for the Disabled, Craig Hospital and the Fort -- and the soundtrack features the work of local musicians. Darla Rae of The Goal will Appear on 100 Huntley Street program “Full Circle”

“Full Circle” is considered to be the Canadian Christian version of the US program “The View."  Rae will appear on the live show to be televised Feb.23rd in Toronto Canada. She will discuss the making of The Goal, and why it is Inspirational to all who see it. This program is the longest running Christian program in Canada and is broadcast Coast to Coast. This program is broadcast to millions of viewers. It is also available on the web.

Darla Rea will also make an appearance on LeSea Broadcastings production titled “The Harvest Show” on Feb 26th. This program is broadcast to audiences 3 times to 46 million homes via DirecTV channel 321 through 12 different stations around the country. It is broadcast to Israel and 15 surrounding nations to approx.73 million homes.4.3 Billion people in Asia, Australia, Europe, and Africa can watch via Television (FETV). It is also available to 8 million homes in Argentina on Canal Luz. It will also be transmitted on 5 shortwave stations to 1 billion shortwave radios on the planet.
