Incorporated (MEG) announces the upcoming release of The Goal:
An Inspirational Story, on October 10, 2006. Writer, director
and executive producer, Darla Rae, delivers a compelling story
of enduring faith in the face of adversity, with her debut
feature film, The Goal: An Inspirational Story. Starring Ryan
Parker, Jason Regier, Wendy Duncan and Gale Grove. Special
appearance by the Denver Harlequin Wheelchair Rugby Team.

The Goal is an uplifting dramatic feature about two disabled
athletes inspired to rebuild their lives by overcoming obstacles
on the court …of Quad Rugby, a fast-paced sport designed for
quadriplegics. Based on a true story, this awarding-winning
inspirational drama features a genuine World Quad Rugby
champion, Jason Regier, who co-stars as well as one of the
film’s executive producers.

Steve (Ryan Parker) and Jason (Jason Regier) are two talented
and goal-oriented athletes, one on track to the Olympics and the
other to Pro Soccer. Tragic accidents bring them together. With
the help of Family and God, the young men conquer the obstacles
and challenges before them as they start to rebuild their lives.
These two adrenaline-rush junkies discover a team sport worthy
of their highly competitive spirit, Quad Rugby. This sport is
played by world-class athletes with gladiator-like wheelchairs,
and combines elements of basketball, football and ice hockey.
Quad Rugby is also known as Murderball because of the aggressive
nature of the game. The sport renews their vigor, and Steve and
Jason start to live life again, –a new life that is different
not over.
